This ram is 100% Flett breeding. The Flett bloodline in Canada was started with the importation
of three moorit ewes and a moorit ram from Shetland Island in 1948 by George Flett.
This bloodline has not been used extensively in the USA
and therefore will most likely not increase inbreeding,
and is an excellent ram to decrease inbreeding in moorit
flocks.
