756 was purchased at the Christchurch Ram Sale. He is a large, long, very correct ram with outstanding Southdown breed characteristics and excellent hindquarters. His mature body weight is 323 pounds. Lambs sired by 756 are very vigorous at birth leading to a very high survival rate and rapid early growth.

The Tasvic Down Stud sheep are renown for their fast growth rates, high survival rate and easy lambing. Semen has been exported to Australia, USA and Uruguay. Tasvic 6/95 was the Champion ram hogget and Supreme Champion Southdown and Mat Breed Champion hogget at the 1996 Christchurch show. In 1997 he was the Supreme Champion at Christchurch. Tasvic 6/95 has sired several outstanding sons. One of his sons won the ram carcass evaluation class at the 1999 Royal Show while another son was the Supreme Champion Southdown in Christchurch. Tasvic 6/95 has been the most successful Southdown sire in New Zealand for the last decade. He has 15 sons entered as stud rams in the Southdown stud book in New Zealand. In 1997 half interest in 6/95 was sold for NZ $7.000 top rice in NZ. One of his sons sold for NZ $6,000 while half interest in another son sold for NZ $6,200.
